2Nd Annual Gala Dinner In Riga Gathered Together More Than 180 Shipowners

Riga Shipping Dinner 2017 – the events for shipowners, shipping industry executives, and companies related to marine business took place on 27 -28 April in Riga for the second time.

With a purpose to continue to development and strengthen business relations in the shipping industry.
The annual gala dinner is organised and curated by Marine Services Group and supported by ABLV Bank as the general sponsor and the arranger of the seminar for shipowners.

The events started with a specialised seminar for shipowners, where most current industry topics were overviewed. Gala dinner at the restaurant Biblioteka No.1 and with the selected menu from chef Maris Jansons for our guests continued the evening.
During the evening amusing entertainment program was prepared – cigar terrace, lottery, show performance from the magician “Magic Fox” and his Kakadu and Ara.
Musical accompaniment of the night was a group “Pienenu Vins” with an orchestra, which gained the award from “The Academia Music Award” in Los Angeles recently.
On 28 April participants had a chance to attend “Marine Services Group Beer Afternoon” at the “Aldaris” beer factory/museum.
This year event gathered more than 180 shipping industry representatives, from 95 companies and 18 countries.
