Marine Services Group At The Grain & Maritime Days In Odessa 2019

From May 30 until June 1, 2019 the marine capital of Ukraine – Odessa becomes a centre for grain trade and maritime industry.
Grain & Maritime Days in Odessa are one of the largest events for representatives of grain, shipping & trade companies. It includes a conference, as well as an informal evening event — Odessa Shipping Dinner. Final accord of the event is the Odessa Shipping Cup, traditional amateur football tournament among transport and maritime experts.
Main audience of the event are key managers of the largest Ukraine’s and international companies engaged in grain and maritime business. This year gathered up to 500 delegates from 25+ countries in Odessa.
The events started with a specialised conference “Grain & Maritime Days” with more than 30 speakers from leading global analytical agencies, grain and maritime business experts, international trade, insurance and investment companies. They shared their experience and knowledge with delegates.
Representative of Marine Services Group — Stanislav Kovaljov, Head of cargo and logistics insurance of Marine Insurance Services also was between conference experts and presented a business case: “Financial risks: risks of non-payment / non-delivery”. His presentation raised large interest and he was asked many questions.
Stanislav also was member of two panel discussions “How to shield from fraud in grain trading: challenges-2019” and “The future is now: IT-solutions in the grain and maritime business”.
Among other key topics of the conference are:
- Global grain market: challenges in 2018/19 MY, expectations for 2019/20 MY;
– Cargo carriages by sea: global prospects, today challenges and investments;
– Logistics as factor of impact on grain export flows.
