Riga Shipping Dinner 2020 Postponed To 17-18 September (Supplemented)

Due to the rapid spread of coronavirus (COVID-19), Latvia has declared the State of Emergency from 13 March until 14 April 2020, which includes restrictions on holding public events and international passenger travel (from 17 March until 14 April 2020), and it remains to be seen what will happen afterwards. In line with this, to ensure the health and safety of our participants and to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we decide to postpone the Riga Shipping Dinner 2020 from 23 April to 17 September 2020 (and following day – 18 September – golf event).

The decision was taken considering that Riga Shipping Dinner is international event and there already are registered participants from 19 countries, many of them are coming from the EU countries, which imposed harder restrictions towards travel. Moreover, Riga Shipping Dinner has always been a very friendly event full of handshakes, friendly embraces, dancing…

The event’s programme is moved to Autumn. Fees paid could either be used for participation in September or refunded. Please inform us if you wish to refund the participation fee.

If you have already made your accommodation reservations, please make cancellation timely. AC Hotel by Marriott Riga recommended for registered participants accepts free booking cancellation 24 hours prior to arrival.
